Kimberly Huerta Matthews, PsyD, is an experienced psychology professional with a strong background in diagnosis, treatment, and assessment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Currently serving as a Psychology Assistant at The Psychology Center since August 2014, Kimberly Huerta Matthews provides psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and couples, alongside offering assessments and treatment recommendations. Previous roles include IEP Case Manager at The Episcopal Center for Children from August 2004 to 2019, Pre Doctoral Intern/Case Manager at the University of Southern California Hospital's Violence Intervention Program from August 2013 to August 2014, and Pre Doctoral Intern at Life Skills Treatment Program from August 2012 to August 2014. Kimberly Huerta Matthews also has a background in psychological assessment from the Psychiatric Institute of Washington. Educational credentials include a Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD) and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Saybrook University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Affairs from California State University of Northridge.
