David Florenzo

David Florenzo currently serves as President and previously as 1st Vice President of the John Carroll Society, a role commenced in July 2023. Florenzo has extensive experience within the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) since December 2008, advancing through several leadership positions including Managing Associate Director, Associate Director, and Assistant Director in the Division of Enforcement & Investigations. Prior involvement with the John Carroll Society includes serving as Treasurer and a member of the Board of Governors from July 2009 to June 2017. Earlier in the career, Florenzo was a Partner and Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP from September 1998 to November 2008. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
