Elena Bozhkova

Elena Bozhkova has extensive experience in auditing and accounting, currently serving as Assistant Chief Auditor at PCAOB since November 2007, where responsibilities include advising on the establishment of auditing standards for financial statement audits and internal controls in the U.S. Previously, Elena held roles as Assistant Director and Senior Manager in Research and Analysis at PCAOB and KPMG LLP, respectively, focusing on accounting and auditing issues. Early career experience includes serving as an Assurance Assistant at PwC. Elena holds an MSc in Accounting from Bentley University's McCallum Graduate School of Business and a BA in Applied Economics and Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria.
