John Cook

John Cook is currently serving as the OERA Chief Counsel at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Prior to this role, John held various positions at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, including Senior Advisor to the Chairman and Counsel to Commissioner Daniel M. Gallagher. John also has experience as an Associate Attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where John represented clients in matters involving securities laws. John holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BSFS in International Politics from Georgetown University.
