Aisha A.

Aisha A. is an experienced science writer currently serving as a Senior Science Writer at The Public Good Projects since April 2021, and also works as a freelance science writer. Aisha has held key positions including Lead Fellow at the NYC STEM Education Network and Associate Director of the Global STEM Alliance at The New York Academy of Sciences. Prior to those roles, Aisha contributed as a Neuronline Community Specialist for the Society for Neuroscience and as the Manager of Biology Partnerships for the Center for Excellence in Education. Aisha's career began with a STEM Outreach Coordinator position through AmeriCorps at Georgetown University Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching & Service. Aisha holds a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences and a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Houston.
