Melony Ishola has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Melony started their career as a News Caster at NTA Channel 5 in 2006 and worked there until 2008. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Presenter/Reporter at Grace FM in Lokoja. Melony then had an internship at Voice of Nigeria in 2011, where they gained experience in presentation and voice over. From 2012 to 2014, they worked at Millennium Christian Ministry, where they produced and hosted a talk show and coordinated administrative and secretarial support services. In 2017, Melony joined NTA Lagos Channel 10 and WFM 91.7 as a TV and Radio Presenter. Melony hosted a lunch-hour show and also worked with British Council Nigeria on the "Creative Hustle" program. In 2023, they worked as an Account Manager at Mediacraft Associates for a brief period. Currently, Melony holds the position of Head of Programmes in the Video Unit at Punch Newspapers.
Melony Ishola pursued their higher education from 2015 to 2017 at the University of Lagos. During this period, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Political Science, specializing in Political Theory.
