Ben Carter

Ben Carter is an accomplished podcast host, producer, author, and ceramic artist with extensive experience in the field. As the host and producer of the "Tales of a Red Clay Rambler" podcast since May 2012, Ben has conducted over four hundred interviews focusing on the creative lives of ceramic artists. At the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts since January 2021, responsibilities include serving as executive producer of the Brickyard Network and podcast editor, with involvement in several ongoing podcast series. Ben is also an artist at Carter Pottery, designing functional ceramics for international exhibition. An author of "Mastering the Potter's Wheel," published in 2016, Ben has contributed to various workshops and served as education director at The Pottery Workshop. Educational credentials include an MFA in Ceramics from the University of Florida and a BFA in Ceramic Arts and Painting from Appalachian State University.
