Paul Swain currently serves as the Head of Raceday Experience & Communications at The Racecourse Association Ltd, a role held since July 2012, where responsibilities include leading the award-winning raceday experience program, providing marketing support to British racecourses, and managing all communications for the organization. Paul is also involved in overseeing the annual RCA Showcase & Awards and the Quality Assured Racecourse Scheme. Additional experience includes roles as Raceday Experience & Communications Manager, Brand & Experience Manager, and Racecourse Services Executive within the same organization. Since April 2021, Paul has been a Board Trustee and Industry Welfare Committee Beneficiary Representative for Racing Welfare. A notable past role as Racing Together Project Manager at the British Horseracing Authority included overseeing the community engagement initiative and stakeholder management. Paul began their career as an Operations Team Member at De Vere Village Urban Resorts and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of York, obtained in 2011.
