Claudia Steiner

Claudia Steiner is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Director of Communications at The Rachel Carson Council since May 2022, after progressing through roles as Associate and Assistant Director of Communications and Strategic Development. Prior experience includes a supervisory position at Compass Coffee and an internship at the U.S. Department of State, where contributions included generating environmental policy materials and planning significant events. Previous roles also encompass an internship with The Climate Reality Project focused on donor research and an energy research internship at Public Citizen. Claudia Steiner holds a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from American University and participated in an intensive Arabic language program through the National Security Language Initiative for Youth in Morocco.
