Managing Director, Center For Sustainable Behavior & Impact at The Recycling Partnership

Louise B. has extensive work experience in the field of sustainability and waste management. Louise is currently the Managing Director of the Center for Sustainable Behavior & Impact at The Recycling Partnership. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Zero Waste & Emergency Operations at the San Jose Conservation Corps and Charter School. Louise also worked as a Consultant at the Natural Resources Defense Council and as a Campaign Manager for Leslie Cockburn for Congress. Louise has a strong background in waste management, having held positions at the NYC Department of Sanitation and Big Reuse. Louise started their career as a Corps Member in the Green Apple Corps at the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation.

Louise B. has a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in China and Asia-Pacific Studies from Cornell University. Louise also holds a Master of Urban Planning degree in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning from New York University. In addition, they have participated in a Study Abroad program at Peking University. Louise has also obtained a certification from the Bell Leadership Institute in Achievers, which was obtained in December 2022.
