Drew Fennelly

Drew Fennelly has served in the Lawrence Kansas Police Department since May 2009, holding various positions including Public Information Officer, UAV Team Coordinator, Sergeant, and Social Media Administrator. Fennelly manages the department's Twitter and Facebook pages, focusing on public education and engagement through video production. Fennelly began as a police officer after being appointed to the 29th Basic Recruit Academy and was assigned to the Patrol Division in November 2009. Additionally, Fennelly works as a UAV Instructor at the Los Angeles County Regional Training Center and previously served as Chairman of the Lawrence Police Officer's Association from March 2015 to October 2019. Fennelly is an alumnus of The University of Kansas.
