Rebecca Wigg joined RAP after serving as the Smart Grid Fellow at the Institute for Energy and the Environment at Vermont Law School, where she researched the policy implications of widespread adoption of smart grid technology and electric vehicles. She previously worked at the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (MEEA), coordinating a nine-state campaign to advance energy efficiency policies, overhauling the organization’s communications strategy, and organizing the annual Midwest Energy Solutions Conference. Ms. Wigg completed Peace Corps service in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco, where she taught English, conducted an environmental education workshop for elementary school teachers, and chaired the Gender and Development Committee.
Ms. Wigg graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in environmental science and a minor in environmental economics. She also earned a master’s in environmental law and policy as well as an Energy Law Certificate from Vermont Law School.
