Mao Xiong

Mao Xiong is an experienced professional in the field of social work, currently serving as an intern at CMC Mercy since August 2018 and a crisis counselor at The Relatives since November 2017. Prior experience includes roles as an office administrator at The Taub Group, where responsibilities involved managing over 100 substance abuse patients and coordinating a substance abuse program, and as a medical reception technician at CSL Plasma, focusing on donor assessments and education. Additionally, Mao Xiong founded Dedicated Hmong Promoting Higher Education, facilitating meetings and building committees to support Hmong students. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from Winthrop University and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
