David H. Jones

David H. Jones is currently an Operating Partner at IDEA Fund Partners; a seed and early venture firm focused on investing in and working alongside innovative technology companies in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Prior to IDEA Fund Partners, David spent almost 20 years at Peak 10. As a co-founder of Peak 10, he helped build it into a half-billion-dollar company. In 2017, Peak 10 merged with ViaWest to create Flexential, a market leader in the hybrid colocation, cloud, and managed services industries. Including his Board of Directors role at Flexential, David holds several board positions in the association, higher education, and business sectors. He is greatly respected by the Charlotte business community and the greater technology industry nationwide. David is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
