Ahana Bhattacharya is a dedicated Computer Science student at the University at Buffalo, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant for the CSE 331 (Algorithms and Complexity) and CSE 220 (Systems Programming) courses, Ahana contributes to course organization, material preparation, and student support. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Research Foundation for SUNY, Ahana focuses on improving fairness in Artificial Intelligence for foster care. Additional experience includes leadership roles in UB Hacking, participation in Google's Computer Science Research Mentorship Program, and previous research assistant positions at the University of Buffalo's DRONES Lab and Laboratory of Michael C. Yu. Ahana has also played a significant role in marketing strategies for hackathons, demonstrating strong organizational and outreach skills.
