Lori Hurley has extensive experience in administrative and financial management roles, currently serving as a Grant Administrator at The Research Foundation for SUNY since June 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing sponsored project awards, monitoring budgets, and assisting Principal Investigators with grant management. Prior to this role, Lori was an Administrative Assistant at the Institute of Informatics, Logics and Security Studies at UAlbany, managing post-award financial operations and coordinating personnel processes. Previous positions include Procurement Specialist and Receptionist at SEMATECH, and Medical Secretary at various medical practices, showcasing a strong background in office administration, customer service, and financial reporting. Lori holds a BA in Sociology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and has pursued education at the College of Charleston and Onondaga Community College.

The Research Foundation for the State University of New York (RF) is the largest, most comprehensive university-connected research foundation in the country. It exists to serve the State University of New York (SUNY) by providing essential sponsored programs administration and innovation support services to SUNY faculty, students and staff who perform life-changing research in life sciences and medicine; engineering and nanotechnology; physical sciences and energy; social sciences; and computer and information sciences.
