Thomas A. Brinkley

Head Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Research Foundation for SUNY

Thomas A. Brinkley is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Undergraduate Biology at Stony Brook University, actively supporting undergraduate courses and collaborating with faculty and teaching assistants. Brinkley previously served as a Teaching Assistant in both the Department of Undergraduate Biology and the Department of Chemistry, where responsibilities included conducting office hours, assisting students, and providing instructional support. As Head Undergraduate Research Assistant in The Moll Lab at Stony Brook Medicine, Brinkley focuses on computational roles and investigates the role of cell cycle proteins in multiciliogenesis. Brinkley also maintained a mouse colony as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and worked as a Mathematics Instructor at Mathnasium, enhancing math skills for students of various age groups. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Bioinformatics at Johns Hopkins University, Brinkley holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University with a specialization in Developmental Genetics and a minor in Chemistry.
