Ben Higman is an experienced culinary professional currently serving as a Sous Chef at The Rick Stein Group since November 2021. Previously, Ben held positions as a Sous Chef at The Longstore Charlestown and as a Senior Chef de Partie at The Rick Stein Group. Additional culinary experience includes roles as a Sous Chef at Brokendock and Line Chef at Wagamama, along with a Chef position at Wild Beer Co. Prior to a culinary career, Ben worked in engineering and maintenance roles, including as a Call Out Engineer at Fen-Bay Services Ltd, Service Engineer at Easilift Loading Systems, and Hydraulic Engineer at Danser Hydraulics. Ben also briefly owned and operated Higman Door Services, specializing in the installation and maintenance of commercial and domestic doors. Ben holds a BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Engineering from The Cornwall College Group.
