Pete Murt has extensive experience in the culinary industry, primarily working for The Rick Stein Group. Pete started as a Chef in 1998 and worked their way up to Sous Chef before leaving in 2013. In 2015, they joined The Rick Stein Group again, this time as a Head Chef. Additionally, they worked as a Chef de Partie at Hibiscus Restaurant Mayfair from 2013 to 2015.

In 1975 Rick and Jill Stein opened The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow. Now over 40 years on, they have expanded their business to include 10 restaurants, a pub, a cookery school, 40 guest rooms, self catering properties and 4 shops. Shop with us In Padstow we have four shops: a deli, coffee shop, gift shop and fishmongers/seafood bar. Our fish counter is stocked with locally landed fish and shellfish and we sell a collection of homemade items in our shops from pasties to fresh bread and chutneys and jams made to Rick's recipes.
