J. Jessy Lall

Hon. J. Jessy Lall, Judge, Mediator, and Attorney at Law is Georgia’s first South Asian woman appointed to the Georgia judiciary. Indian-born, Jessy grew up in Singapore before she came here for college. After over 12 years on the bench, plus about 4 years as an Administrative Law Judge, Jessy has now transitioned to The RMN Agency as a professional legal recruiter. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge, experience, and connections to counsel, guide, and develop highly motivated attorneys in their career paths. She still serves as a Judge pro on the Fulton County State Court as well as a Senior Magistrate Judge in the State of GA. If that is not enough, Judge Lall also mediates and arbitrates at BAY Mediation LLC.

Jessy has served as a judge in Fulton County, GA where she presided over a multitude of civil and criminal hearings and trials, as well as trained incoming judges. She served on the Executive Board of the Georgia Council of Magistrate Court Judges as well as on the Councils’ mentor-ship and Benchbook committees. Jessy is a member of the Council’s Faculty for training judges, as well as chairs the judges’ curriculum committee. She had served on the Board of the Georgia Asian Pacific American Bar Association (GAPABA) where she continues her membership along with the Lawyers Club, South Asian Bar Association (SABA), North Fulton Bar Association (Board member), & the Atlanta Bar Association.
