Nahal Mottaghian

Nahal Mottaghian is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Program Influence Manager at The Rockefeller Foundation, focusing on economic equity and innovative finance initiatives. Prior roles at The Rockefeller Foundation include Program Influence Senior Associate and Program Influence Associate. At Brooklyn Community Services, Mottaghian developed comprehensive communication strategies to enhance outreach and engagement across over 30 programs. Mottaghian's prior experience includes outreach and advocacy with the United Nations' HeForNahal movement, as well as a role as Communications Photographer and Human Rights Fellow at New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study. During service with the Peace Corps, Mottaghian taught English and promoted cross-cultural understanding in Indonesia. Mottaghian holds a Master of Arts in International Reporting from NYU Gallatin and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Studio Art from the University of Maryland.
