Sabelo Toyi

Mr. Toyi is a Director and leads the Africa Private Markets Corporate Accounting team, while also serving as CFO: Brait within the advisory contract held by TRG. He is based in Johannesburg.

Before joining TRG in April 2023, Mr. Toyi was the Head of Corporate Accounting at Ethos Private Equity, which was acquired by TRG in April 2023.

Mr. Toyi joined Ethos in 2020, initially as the CFO for Brait before expanding his responsibilities in 2021 to include Ethos’ Corporate accounting function. He brings with him extensive experience in New York and Johannesburg-listed organizations within the telematics as well as forestry and paper manufacturing industries.

Mr. Toyi is a CA (SA) and completed the General Management Program at the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
