Richard (Rich) started their career at Tellabs, where they held multiple positions such as Vice President of North America Sales and Vice President of Global Product Marketing. During their time at Tellabs, they oversaw various aspects of the business, including customer service, sales, and marketing. Richard (Rich) also played a crucial role in the growth and success of the company's product divisions.

In addition to their work at Tellabs, Rich also worked at Coriant, Inc. as the Vice President of Customer Service, where they demonstrated their expertise in managing customer service operations. Richard (Rich) later joined the Rotary Club of Naperville, where they served as President from 2023 to 2024.
