Clory Michael has a diverse work experience in the medical field. In 1993, they joined the Nova Scotia Health Authority as an Emergency Medicine Physician and continued in this role until the starting date for their next position is specified. In 2002, they took on the role of an Emergency Medicine Physician within the same organization. In 2005, they became the Chief of Emergency Department & Medical Staff at Cobequid Community Health Centre, where they served until their starting date for the next role is mentioned. In 2011, they joined The Rounds as the Chief Medical Officer, responsible for leading an exclusive professional network for Canadian physicians. Currently, they serve as the Enhanced Skills Program Director at the Department of Family Medicine at Dalhousie University, a position they started in 2021.

Clory Michael earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems from St. Francis Xavier University, which they attended from 1977 to 1981. Clory then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree at Dalhousie University from 1981 to 1983. In 1987, they enrolled at McGill University where they received a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, completing their medical education in 1991.
