Paola Gonzalez has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as a Research Member at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Paola later joined Memorial University of Newfoundland as an MSc. Candidate in Cancer & Development, focusing on laboratory experiments and cell culture. Paola continued their research work at the same university as a Research Assistant, maintaining cancer cell cultures and performing Proximity Ligation Assays.

In 2014, Paola transitioned to Starbucks, where they worked as a Barista and Barista Trainer, providing exceptional customer service and training newly hired staff. Paola later became a Shift Supervisor and Barista Trainer, managing store operations and providing feedback on partner performance.

Paola then joined Ideal Protein as a Client Relations Specialist, offering personalized support to clinics and clients, as well as guidance on the IdealSmart platform. Paola subsequently became a Client Care Supervisor, providing coaching and training to employees and resolving escalated incidents.

Most recently, Paola worked at The Rounds as a Customer Success Manager, where they served as the main point of contact for client campaigns, providing support and recommendations for successful program implementation. Paola then assumed the role of Member Experience Manager, developing resources and conducting UX interviews to enhance member satisfaction. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Member Engagement Manager, spearheading member engagement initiatives and implementing strategies to enhance member engagement and satisfaction.

Paola Gonzalez's education history starts with their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biotechnology Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they completed from 2008 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Medicine with a specialization in Cancer and Development at Memorial University of Newfoundland from 2013 to 2016.

In addition to their formal degree programs, Paola has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include certifications such as "Ask Questions to Make Data-Driven Decisions" and "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere" from Coursera | Google, obtained in May 2022 and August 2021, respectively. Furthermore, Paola has acquired knowledge and expertise in other areas through certifications such as "Customer Success Management Fundamentals" and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn, obtained in December 2020, as well as "Breaking Into Health Writing" from Health Writer Hub, obtained in June 2020. Paola has also completed various courses on leadership and professional development, including "Writing with Flair: How to Become an Exceptional Writer" from LinkedIn in May 2020 and "Leadership: Practical Skills" from LinkedIn in June 2019.

Lastly, Paola obtained an "Occupational Health & Safety Committee" certification from the Workplace Health, Safety, and Compensation Commission (WorkplaceNL) in May 2016, indicating their commitment to occupational health and safety practices.
