Oleg Shevlyagin is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations, entrepreneurship, and strategic management. Currently serving in New Verticals at The Rounds since February 2023, Oleg previously founded 1520, a quick commerce company in NYC, raising $15M in funding. Oleg has also held the position of Head of Operations for Global Expansion at Yandex.Taxi from May 2018 to January 2021, overseeing significant business operations across 18 countries. Earlier experience includes roles at McKinsey & Company as Engagement Manager, Associate, and Senior Business Analyst, and at Carlsberg Group as Brand Manager and Brand Executive. Oleg's academic background includes a Master of Science in Corporate and Strategic Management from St. Petersburg State University of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Physics of Semiconductors from Novosibirsk State University.
