Jennifer Martin

Jennifer Martin is a highly accomplished senior staff specialist in Internal Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology at Hunter New England Local Health District since January 2016. In addition, Jennifer serves as a corporate governance committee member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds an elected council member position at the University of Newcastle, where Jennifer is also the Chair of Clinical Pharmacology. As a professor and head of medicine, Jennifer has led academic divisions and developed curricula at various institutions, including Monash University and the University of Queensland, where Jennifer is involved in multidisciplinary clinical pharmacology research. Jennifer's contributions extend to board membership at the Royal Australasian, committee membership with PHARMAC in New Zealand, and leadership roles within the Australian Rhodes Scholars Association. Jennifer earned a PhD from Monash University and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
