Gail Stott is a Biodiversity Scientist at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh since September 2019, bringing extensive experience in plant sciences to the role. Previously, Gail held a PhD position in Plant Sciences at the University of Oxford from October 2014 to January 2019 and worked as a Botanist at Ya'axche Conservation Trust from January 2011 to September 2014. Gail's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Sciences from the University of Oxford (2014-2018), an MSc in Biodiversity & Taxonomy of Plants from The University of Edinburgh (2009-2010), and a Graduate Diploma in Ecology from the University of East Anglia (2008-2009).
