Professor Cara Aitchison

Professor Cara Aitchison is an esteemed academic and leader, currently serving as Chair of the Scottish Funding Council and Honorary Professor at The University of Edinburgh. Aitchison has held notable positions such as Interim Co-Chair for the Scottish Funding Council and Senior Independent Governor at Arts University Plymouth. Previous roles include President and Vice-Chancellor at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where a successful financial and cultural transformation was achieved, and Vice-Chancellor at Plymouth Marjon University, where over 30 new degree programs were developed.
