Harriet Hiscock

Harriet Hiscock is an accomplished healthcare professional with a diverse academic and leadership background. Currently serving as the Academic Lead for Healthcare Transformation at the University of Melbourne since October 2024, Harriet also holds the position of Chief Health Officer at Matterworks since February 2023. As a Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Melbourne since November 2016 and the Director of the Health Services Research Unit at The Royal Children's Hospital since September 2015, Harriet has a significant influence in paediatric healthcare research. Additionally, Harriet leads a group focused on Health Services at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Melbourne, an MBBS from Monash University, a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and FRACP from RACP, along with a Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Melbourne.
