Professor Christopher Liu Obe

Professor Christopher Liu OBE PhD is a distinguished Medical Consultant and Surgeon currently serving at EuroEyes since November 2023 and as a Consultant Ophthalmologist specializing in Cornea at the National Treatment Centre - Highland since July 2023. In addition, an Honorary Clinical Professor at Brighton and Sussex Medical School and the Honorary Treasurer of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists since November 2020, Professor Liu has extensive experience as a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Sussex Eye Hospital from January 1996 to December 2022. Previous leadership roles include serving as Clinical Director of the Head and Neck Directorate at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, alongside terms as Trustee and Council Member at the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, and President of the Southern Ophthalmological Society. Academic qualifications include a BSc(Hons) and MB, BS from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, FHKAM in Ophthalmology, FRCOphth, and DO from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
