Jeffrey Hillis

Chief Administrative Officer, Secretary and Treasurer at The Royal Conservatory

Jeff Hillis joined the Royal Conservatory in November 2018. He brings a mix of finance, operational and strategic experience from over 14 years of service with public companies of various sizes in the mining/resource sector.

Jeff has a calm and collegial leadership style and has built and led finance teams in large, complex structures and in smaller organizations. As CFO he has implemented finance initiatives to support components of overall strategy, including cost efficiency programs, debt/equity financing/M&A solutions, and restructuring. He has implemented and maintained rigorous internal control systems and entity level control environments. Jeff has also led organizational efforts to implement enterprise risk management frameworks.

As Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Hillis is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the RCM’s financial and administrative functions.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA).
