Tamsie Thomson

Tamsie Thomson Hon FRIBA is a distinguished professional in architecture and urban design, currently serving as a Board Member for the Architects Professional Examinations Authority in Scotland Limited since March 2022 and as Chief Executive Officer for The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland since July 2021. Thomson has held several leadership roles including Managing Director of the London Festival of Architecture from 2009 to July 2021 and Director at RIBA London from November 2004 to January 2016. Academic contributions include a position as Senior Lecturer at the University of Brighton from 2007 to 2010, along with experience in public affairs at Shelter UK and Civic Trust. Thomson holds an MA Hons from Edinburgh College of Art and an MSc in Urban Design and Social Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
