Charlotte Sutton

Charlotte Sutton currently serves as the Head of Casting at the Royal Shakespeare Company since November 2023, following a diverse career as a Freelance Casting Director since January 2011. Notable freelance credits include productions at prestigious venues such as the Young Vic, West End, and National Theatre, where Charlotte has collaborated with acclaimed directors on various projects. Prior to the Royal Shakespeare Company, Charlotte held the position of Casting Associate at Chichester Festival Theatre from January 2017 to October 2023, contributing to several significant productions. Charlotte’s experience also includes roles as a Casting Associate at Ambassador Theatre Group and as a Casting Assistant at the National Theatre, with an educational background in English and Drama from the University of Bristol.
