David Keefe

David Keefe has an extensive work experience in the field of music and musical direction. David has worked as a Children's Musical Director for the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of "Matilda the Musical" in 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Musical Director for OperaUpClose's performance of "The Magic Flute" from September 2017 to July 2018. David also worked with Music & Lyrics as a Children's Music Assistant and Keys 2 Dep for "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" from September 2015 to February 2017. Additionally, they have held roles such as Musical Director/Composer for Investec Opera Holland Park, Musical Director for Creative Learning at Ambassador Theatre Group, Musical Director/Pianist for PERFORMERS COLLEGE LIMITED, Musical Director for HMDT Music, Musical Director/Pianist for English Touring Opera, Musical Director & Arranger for Aria Entertainment, and Musical Director for "A Catered Affair" at London Theatre Workshop.

David Keefe attended the University of Bath from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry. David then pursued further education at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama from 2007 to 2008, earning a Master of Music (MMus) degree in Piano Accompaniment. Following this, they enrolled at the Royal Academy of Music in 2008, completing a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in Musical Directing and Coaching in 2009.
