Luke A. currently holds a position in Computational Physics at The Royal Society, focusing on orbital mechanics, X-ray spectroscopy, magnetospheric physics, and solar flare investigations. In August 2023, Luke received a Gold Award in the British Physics Olympiad Computational Challenge while at the University of Oxford. Luke also achieved a top 50 placement in the Senior Physics Challenge and attended a residential camp at Churchill College, Cambridge, following a year-long competition. In addition, Luke participated in a mentorship conference at Imperial College London aimed at supporting Black students. Previous experience includes a dance performance at Hackney Empire and an engineering internship with Galliard Homes, where a research project on mechanical and electrical systems was completed. Luke is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge from 2024 to 2027, having previously completed A-Levels at Bancroft's School and GCSEs at Forest School.
