Stefan Daume

Stefan Daume is a researcher with extensive experience in ecological economics, environmental informatics, and data science, currently working at the Beijer Institute of Ecological Economics and the Stockholm Resilience Centre. Since January 2021, Stefan has contributed to AI and social media analytics within the Beijer programme, while also analyzing mis-/disinformation campaigns related to environmental issues in the Stockholm Resilience Centre. In addition to ongoing projects such as Scitingly, which merges social media and citizen science, past roles include project management at the Swedish Museum of Natural History and foundational work on the Ecoveillance project. Stefan holds a Ph.D. from the University of Göttingen, an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh, and a Diplom in Forest Sciences/Natural Resource Management from the University of Göttingen.
