Ken Taunton

Ken Taunton has extensive work experience in executive search and staffing services. Ken started their career at Merck as the Southeast Region Recruiting Manager in 1989 and held this position until 1999. Ken then joined Korn/Ferry International as a Senior Associate from 1998 to 2001. Currently, Ken serves as the President & CEO of The Royster Group, Inc., a certified minority business enterprise specializing in executive search and staffing services. Ken has been in this role since September 2001.

Ken Taunton has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, obtained in 1988. Ken also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Information Technology, earned from Mercer University in 1998. In 2015, Ken received a certificate in Building a High Performance Business from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Ken later obtained a Certificate in Business from The Wharton School in 2016. In 2017, Ken was certified as a Search Consultant (CSC) by the American Staffing Association. Ken is currently pursuing an Executive Certificate in Entrepreneurial and Business Operations from the Morehouse Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center from 2022 to 2023.
