Bozeng Tang is a Postdoctoral Scientist at The Sainsbury Laboratory since July 2018, focusing on bioinformatics to study gene regulation in fungi. Bozeng completed a PhD in Plant Pathology/Phytopathology at the University of Exeter from 2015 to 2019 under the supervision of Professor Nick Talbot FRS. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at University College Dublin from December 2013 to September 2015, analyzing Next-Generation Sequencing bioinformatics data, and participating in advanced studies at the University of Zurich in various biological research fields. Earlier, Bozeng worked as a Consultant at Education International Cooperation Group in 2011, helping clients with overseas university interviews and PhD applications, and earned a Master's Degree in Plant Molecular Biology from University College Dublin between 2012 and 2014, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Sichuan Agricultural University.
