Prince Boateng Amoah

Prince Boateng Amoah is a Pre-Doctoral Intern at The Sainsbury Laboratory and an MSc student in Global Plant Health at the University of East Anglia. As a co-founder of Stercus Incorporated, Prince actively participates in the Kosmos Innovation Center AgriTech Challenge at the University of Ghana and has represented the university in various international competitions, notably winning the 2020 Hult Prize on-campus Competition. Previous experience includes serving as a Teaching and Research Assistant at the Biotechnology Centre, where responsibilities included conducting literature reviews, providing training in molecular biology techniques, and procuring laboratory supplies. Prince also worked as a Teaching Assistant for an introductory genetics course at the University of Ghana and completed an undergraduate internship at the Biotechnology Centre, focusing on DNA extraction and polymerase chain reaction techniques. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Crop Science from the University of Ghana and an exchange program at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.
