Sung Ah Choe

VP Design at The Sak

Sung Ah Choe has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Sung Ah began their career as a Design Assistant at Jones Apparel Group in 1989 before moving on to work as a Designer for Andrea Jovine, where they were responsible for various design tasks and managed fashion shows. Sung Ah later joined DFS as a Design Manager, designing licensed apparel and accessories for international markets. Sung Ah Choe then worked as a Senior Designer on a contract basis for Levi Strauss & Co., focusing on junior apparel for the US market. Sung Ah then co-founded M2sport, where they served as the Design Director for womenswear, conceptualizing the brand and overseeing design and development functions. Most recently, Sung Ah Choe held leadership positions at The Sak, first as the VP of Product Development and later as the VP of Design.

Sung Ah Choe attended McLean High School from 1985 to 1987. Sung Ah then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design - The New School, completing their studies from 1985 to 1989.
