Kendra Smith

Kendra Smith is a seasoned editorial leader currently serving as Deputy Managing Editor at SFGATE since November 2022, where Kendra guides a 10-person team and enhances editorial planning in a dynamic newsroom surpassing NYT readership in the Bay Area. Previously, Kendra held the position of Editorial Director at Healthline Media from April 2017 to June 2022, overseeing the growth of a newsletter program that reached millions nationally. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Editor at MedHelp, Senior Health Editor at Future US, Senior Editor at Sunset Magazine, and Associate Editor at Miller Freeman.
