Yesica Prado

reporting covers human rights, poverty, environmental justice, art, culture, immigration, and indigenous communities. Prado’s photography has been published in the L.A. Times, Huff Post, and KQED. Prado is a first-generation Mexican immigrant. She has a master’s in journalism (M.J.) from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, and a bachelor’s of fine art in photography from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
