Ignacio Gómez

Ignacio Gómez is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in fraud prevention and marketplace optimization. Currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at The Sandbox since February 2022, Ignacio leads a team focused on AI solutions for various branches and presents results to C-Level executives. Previous roles include Lead Data Scientist at dLocal, where responsibility for the data science team involved collaboration on business solutions, and at Evertec, where Ignacio coordinated efforts in fraud prevention and participated in the development lifecycle of machine learning models. Ignacio's academic background includes a MicroMasters® in Statistics and Data Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with multiple degrees in Computer Science and related fields.
