Alexa Steiger has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies. Alexa currently holds the position of Director of Training and Development at The Savings Group since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at AUTOPAY as a Manager of Training from August 2020 to September 2021.

Their longest tenure was at VW Credit, Inc. where they held various roles starting from 2003. Alexa started as a Customer Care Phone Representative in March 2003 and then progressed to become a Support Administrator from September 2005 to November 2006. Alexa then worked as a Consultant in Training and Quality from December 2006 to June 2012, where they executed training and quality initiatives for the contact center operations. After that, they worked as a Supervisor for the Customer Care Phone Team in June 2012.

At VW Credit, Inc., Alexa was also involved in Learning and Development, HR & OD as a Consultant, instructional designer, and facilitator for VCI Academy operations. Alexa oversaw the training budget, delivered learning experiences for employees, and directed various projects.

Before joining VW Credit, Inc., Alexa worked at Cost Plus World Market as an Assistant Manager from June 2000 to February 2003. Their responsibilities included developing store teams, adhering to schedules and budgets, and managing departmental responsibilities such as Beverage Department Manager.

Alexa also has prior experience as an Assistant Store Manager at Eddie Bauer from 1999 to 2000.

Alexa Steiger obtained their Bachelor's Degree from the University of Idaho. Alexa has also obtained several certifications throughout their career, including being certified as a Wilson Learning Trainer for Signature Service in February 2019. In October 2018, they completed certifications in Agile at Work: Building Your Agile Team and Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management from Lynda.com. Additionally, in October 2014, they became a VitalSmarts Certified Trainer for both Crucial Accountability and Crucial Conversations. In July 2013, they completed the Achieve Global Certified Trainer certification for Leadership and Customer Service programs from Miller Heiman Group.
