Marina Iwao

Marina Iwao is an accomplished pianist and collaborative piano coordinator at Yale School of Music since September 2022, where also serves as a Collaborative Piano Fellow. With extensive experience in chamber music coaching and as a staff pianist across prestigious institutions such as The Juilliard School, Kaufman Music Center, and The New School, Marina demonstrates a strong commitment to music education and collaboration. Additionally, Marina has maintained a freelance career as both a pianist and collaborative pianist since 2008, with past roles including choral accompanist at Lasell Village and staff pianist at Longy School of Music. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Collaborative Piano from The Juilliard School and a Professional Studies Diploma from Mannes College The New School for Music.
