Lisa Dokovna, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of medical science and research. Lisa started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Delaware, where they conducted experiments on the effects of alcohol exposure on context memory. Lisa also published research findings and presented them at conferences.

Afterwards, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Brown University, where they focused on analyzing neuroanatomical connections in the rat brain and performed small animal stereotaxic surgeries. Lisa also assisted as a Teaching Assistant during their time at Brown University.

Lisa then joined the University of Southern California as a Project Coordinator, where they worked on managing and analyzing data from autism research centers. Lisa also conducted a systematic review on the neuroimaging of autism and published their findings.

Next, Lisa joined Pharmavite as a Research Assistant, where they contributed to manuscript preparation, managed research projects and product donations, and maintained a large library of publications.

Lisa then worked at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health as a Health Program Analyst - Medical Science Writer, where they wrote and edited content related to COVID-19 disease control and vaccination.

Currently, Lisa is working at The Scienomics Group as a Medical Associate and recently assumed the position of Assistant Medical Director.

Lisa Dokovna, Ph.D. completed their education in a chronological order starting with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Neuroscience from the University of Delaware from 2008 to 2012. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology and Anthropology from the same institution.

Continuing their studies, Lisa pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Psychology at Brown University from 2012 to 2014.

Following their master's degree, they enrolled in the University of Southern California for their doctoral studies in Neuroscience. Lisa completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree at USC from 2014 to 2020.

Additionally, Lisa Dokovna obtained two certifications. In October 2022, they earned the certification in "Data Visualization for Data Analysis and Analytics" from LinkedIn. Lisa also obtained the certification in "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging" from LinkedIn in the same month and year.
