Meghan Mooring

Meghan Mooring currently holds the position of Assistant Scientific Director at Healthcare Consultancy Group, having previously served as Assistant Scientific Director and Scientific Associate at ProEd Communications. A postdoctoral fellow at Yale University, Meghan conducted research focusing on the metabolic link to inflammation and fibrosis in fatty liver disease, utilizing mouse models to explore molecular impacts on immune cell activation. Prior to this, Meghan gained extensive research experience at various institutions, including the University of Pittsburgh as a Graduate Student Researcher, where first author publications were produced, and worked on significant research involving CRISPR-Cas9 in human cortical development at multiple laboratories. Meghan holds a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master's degree from San Jose State University, and a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
