Deryck Mitchelson

Deryck Mitchelson currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer for the CISO Community at the World Economic Forum, where the focus is on collaborative solutions to cybersecurity challenges. Additionally, Deryck holds the position of Vice-chair on the Scottish Government's National Cyber Advisory Board, providing strategic advice to enhance Scotland's digital security. As Global Chief Information Security Officer at Check Point Software Technologies, Deryck advises on security strategies while also engaging in thought leadership initiatives. Former roles include Director of National Digital and CISO at NHS National Services Scotland, Global VP IT and CISO at Wood Mackenzie, Head of IT at Scottish Prison Service, and several key positions at DC Thomson and brightsolid. Deryck holds a BSc Hons in Management Accountancy & Computer Science from the University of Dundee.
