Laura Kocher

Laura Kocher is the Director of Operations & Finance at The Scout Guide. Laura has over fifteen years of experience in various fields including real estate, law, and baking.

Laura began their career as a legal assistant at Betty A. Thompson, Ltd. In 2009, they transitioned to office manager at Mullett Dove Meacham & Bradley, PLLC. Two years later, Laura moved to High Country Outfitters where they managed the store and assisted with buying decisions. In 2014, Laura became a real estate broker with Baird & Warner. After a brief stint in real estate, Laura found their passion for baking and took a position as an assistant baker at Stevie G's Gluten Free Bakery. In 2015, Laura joined The Scout Guide as the Director of Operations & Finance.

In their role at The Scout Guide, Laura is responsible for the company's financial planning and analysis, human resources, and office operations. Under their leadership, The Scout Guide has seen significant growth and expansion. Laura is an integral part of The Scout Guide team and is passionate about helping the company succeed.

Laura Kocher attended Hollins University where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature. Before that, they attended Mercersburg Academy.
